Chicken crossing

A sign outside the gate of a house in Haren. We didn't see any chickens by the way :)

  11. What a cute sign,, Marleen. I see the entry box says "nee nee" Does that mean "no" in Dutch as it does in Afrikaans?

    1. Hi Jo, yes the Dutch word 'nee' is the same as in Afrikaans. On a mailbox it means that the owners do not want to receive advertising and no local (free) newspapers.
