Gloomy day

Happy to see the sun today after a few gloomy days with drizzling rain every now and then. I went for a walk yesterday and took this photo, with a houseboat on the left and a drawbridge just behind it.

  1. Gets me every time: "Low bridge, everybody down! Low bridge, for we're coming to a town . . ." :-)

  4. I often wonder what it would be like to live on a houseboat, the idea of moving on whenever the mood takes you sounds quite appealing ☺ love the autumn leaves scattered all over the road! Happy weekend Marleen.

  5. Gloomy days can often make for good photography because it gets rid of the sharp contrast that the sun emits. I actually like this photo a lot and would love to be walking along that leaf-strewn street. Love that houseboat, too. It's so big. What would something like that cost? Do the owners have to pay to park it in the canal?
