KreaDoe hobby fair

A few impressions from my visit yesterday at the Kreadoe, an annular 5-day hobby fair for creative inspiration and DIY, in Utrecht.

At many stands you could see how things were made and what to do with the many different items..

.. or you could take part in one of the workshops. These ladies were making fun cakes at a 'creative baking' workshop.

  2. This looks wonderful and I would love it and I'll bet I could find a number of items or projects or hobbies of interest. Were there booths for photography? Your country, like so many other European countries, offer the people a slew of opportunities for personal growth. The US, especially under the orange-headed monster, has become much more self-centered where people don't give a darn about other people, where they've come to believe that the only things that matter are things that matter to them. It's all quite sad and I'm not sure we'll ever recover because it's not only the fault of Trump but also the fault of the millions who actually voted for him.

    1. Hi Lowell, the focus of this fair is on handmade things, with paper, colouring pencils, stamps, wool, wood etc etc
