An island path

Although Schiermonnikoog is relatively small (about 200 km²), the island has many different landscapes: beach, dunes, woods, salt marshes and tidal flats. The thought is that this nature belongs to us all, and therefor much of it is open and accessible to the public. Only during the breeding season some paths are closed so birds are not disturbed.
Here we are on our way to the wide beach that I showed you yesterday.

  1. Lijkt alsof er een tondeuse over een kop met groen haar is gegaan. Leuk.

  2. Beautiful scene with fantastic perspective. If you had not said anything I would have thought you were on a prairie.

  3. It looks like a wonderful place to explore.

  4. Something we don't have here. Very exotic and different. And it looks like nice. There would be a lovely walk.

  5. The path is very neat. It reminds me a bit of some parts of the golf course!

Don't be shy and leave a comment. I'd love to read what you think!
