Outside Den Haag Centraal railway station

Arriving at "Den Haag Centraal". The brand-new main railway station of The Hague opened in February of this year after almost 5 years of renovation works. The original train station dates from 1870, it was called 'Den Haag Rhijnspoor'. Many things have changed since then!

Lots of glass on all sides, which makes it possible to look right through to the sky and see the sun reflect. Tomorrow I'll show you a photo taken inside.

I'm linking to Skywatch Friday and Weekend Reflections.

  1. Het heeft lang geduurd maar dan heb je ook wat, het is heel mooi geworden

  2. Vind het wel jammer dat het van buiten geen duidelijk stationsgebouw meer is.

  3. I wouldn't want to be the window washer!

  4. That's a great looking building and wonderful photographs.

  5. Renovations going on with Toronto's Union Station. I hope when they are are finished that it looks as good as the Den Haag Centraal.

  6. The railway station looks fantastic.

  7. mooie moderne architectuur..

toen ik er een drietal jaar geleden, was het nog een grote bouwwerf
