Roots

One of the many giant trees on the Glimmen Home estate, near Haren. Do you ever wonder how far and how wide roots go underground? I do!

I´m linking to All Seasons.

  6. Ah, I love roots! Have even made a watercolor of that very subject! Many thanks for sharing this with SEASONS. Heard from Ladymanilla (one of the participants of Seasons) that they had snow in Bavaria. Did you have snow in Holland?
In any case, have a beautiful week!

  7. Unfortunately, we've seen quite a few trees upended by severe weather in recent years. The shocking discovery is that most of the roots are only inches beneath the surface and not as widespread as we might think.
