Wagon with Portraits

This work of art is named "Wagon with Portraits" and stands in front of the Nijenhuis Castle in Heino/Weihe. The heads were created by Dutch sculpturor Cornelis Rogge (1932). Somehow it really appeals to me!
In the background is the entrance of the museum.

  1. I've always been a fan of wagon wheels so I like these a lot. The portraits seem to be whimsical and humorous. I wonder if there's a deeper backstory as to what the sculptor was thinking when he created this piece.
