Gulf of Bothnia coast

The town of Oulu is a popular holiday destination as it lies at the coast of the Gulf of Bothnia, and has a nice beach. We stayed in a cottage at Nallikari Holiday Village about 50 metres of the beach.

Life guards were watching the swimmers.

  1. In your previous post you mention 'tropical' Finland. It's amazing, isn't it, how everywhere seems to be turning tropical at present. In West Yorkshire (in England) I think we have had only one burst of rain in more than two and a half months.

    1. How I miss going to the beach and swimm in the ocean!
Hope you had a great time!

  2. Wat een leuke badhokjes, had nooit gedacht dat Finland een strand heeft.

  3. You found the correct -tropical- summer to spend on the beach!

  4. Lovely to see photos of my county. I haven't never been in Oulu, it's so far from my home... You have really good luck to spend holiday in North-Finland. There was very unusually heat wave (over 30 °C).

  5. What a beautiful beach scene, it looks like a nice place to visit. Glad you had a great time in Finland.

  6. ...the life guard stand is like the ones in Maui.

  7. Finland, Belgie of Frankrijk. De strandhuisjes zien er allemaal hetzelfde uit. 1-0 voor Europa.

  8. naar het strand...in Finland

iets wat ik niet direct verwacht had Marleen

ik kijk al uit naar het vervolg
