Gulf of Bothnia coast

The town of Oulu is a popular holiday destination as it lies at the coast of the Gulf of Bothnia, and has a nice beach. We stayed in a cottage at Nallikari Holiday Village about 50 metres of the beach.

Life guards were watching the swimmers.

  1. In your previous post you mention 'tropical' Finland. It's amazing, isn't it, how everywhere seems to be turning tropical at present. In West Yorkshire (in England) I think we have had only one burst of rain in more than two and a half months.

  4. Lovely to see photos of my county. I haven't never been in Oulu, it's so far from my home... You have really good luck to spend holiday in North-Finland. There was very unusually heat wave (over 30 °C).
