Sugar Factory murals

A real street art gallery has appeared on the side wall of the former Groningen Suger Factory. Street artists are invited to create a mural, as written here on the left.

And this is another fine example of the murals I photographed there. More to follow next Monday!

I'm linking to Monday Mural.

  1. Leuk als je uitgenodigd wordt om een muurschildering te maken en het niet stiekum hoeft te doen. Leuke murals!

  5. Very nice murals by some very talented artists. It is nice to have a place where this kind of art is promoted. My favorite one is the shark.

  6. I normally don't like drawing on walls unless it's been approved as seems to be the case here. The artwork is excellent!

  7. The orka or whale is beautifully done! Your post about the Christmas fair below, is what I miss Christmas markets here in California! Am glad they're making a (new) use of this building! Hope to see you at the Christmassy post for ALL SEASONS this week:)

  10. How cool is that, that street artists were invited to cover the walls. Nice contrast between the two designs you featured this week. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
