Both photos were taken at Foltz nursery & gardens. Inside the barn -entrance through the blue door- garden tools are sold, as well as vintage items for home and garden. And there's the pay desk for all that you wish to bring home.

Yellow

We seem to be going from one glorious Summer day to another. It was really a hot one today.

Both photos were taken last Sunday at Foltz nursery and gardens. Mmmm..  wish I'd written down the name of those yellow flowers, they're lovely don't you think?

Red coneflower

This is one of many variaties of coneflowers that we saw at Foltz nursery & gardens today, in the small village of Meeden. This weekend they held their annual 'Salvia and Echinacea-days'. Isn't this red coneflower a beauty?

Christmas #1 - Saints and Angels Christmas Fair

Every other day (or maybe everyday) for the rest of this month I will be posting photos taken at local Christmas/Winter Fairs. "Saints and Angels" is the annual Christmas Fair at Tuingoed Foltz, a local garden nursery in the small village of Meeden in the province of Groningen. In the weeks prior to Christmas the barn on their property is one big display of candles, lights, season's decorations, luxury chinaware etc. etc. And it's all for sale!

Falling leaves

A hidden and quiet spot on the lands of garden nursery Tuingoed Foltz in Meeden. And yes, the leaves are falling and falling!

The inside..

..is maybe even more colourful than the outside! These pumpkins were on a table this morning at Tuingoed Foltz, a local garden nursery, in the village of Meeden. This weekend they celebrate their annual fruit-trees and pruning event, with pruning demonstrations, pumpkin displays, Autumn fruit recipes etc.
