ATM mural

In one of the side streets from the Diezerstraat in the city of Zwolle I spotted this mural of an ATM machine, looking quite real if you just pass it and see it from the corner of your eye. I had to look twice, can you believe it haha :) There even is a sign saying `Deze geldautomaat is tijdelijk buiten gebruik´ ('this machine is temporarily out of service').

Honesty box

Picture yourself on your way towards the Aysgarth falls in Yorkshire, or different falls in another place in the world.. Just before you arrive you see this 'Access Fee Honesty Box'. There´s nobody around. What would you do?

piggy bank

This piggy bank was waiting for us at the exit of a small regional museum (with free entry) that we visited in Rolde recently. The most polite sign says: If you liked it all very much, you might donate a voluntary gift for the costs into the piggy bank.

Dit spaarvarken met een erg beleefde tekst stond ons op te wachten bij de uitgang van een klein streekmuseum (met gratis toegang) in Rolde, dat we onlangs bezochten.

The last part of the road to the Ruvallen farm near Funäsdalen (Sweden) where our hiking trail started, was a privat road. After putting the fare of 20 Swedish Crownes (about eur 2,30 or usd 3,15) into the rusty box, we were allowed to open the barrier and continue..

Het laatste stuk naar de boerderij Ruvallen, in de buurt van Funäsdalen (Zweden) waar onze wandeling begon, was een privéweg. Na betaling van 20 Zweedse kronen (ongeveer eur 2,30) dat in de roestige bus moest, mochten we zelf de slagboom openen en verder gaan..
