I showed you a nice mural from Tenerife last week, this is another one that we spotted. It was created by Ione Dominquez aka SODA in the village of Candelaria at the island's east coast.
Candelaria is the principal Catholic center of pilgrimage of the Canary Islands and one of the principal ones of Spain. Most tourists come here to visit the Basilica of Candelaria.
I'm linking to Monday Mural.
I really like this one. A mix of lots of "local" themes.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenInteresting. Catches the eye. I also like colors on the first picture.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenMurals zijn nu echt wel een wereldwijd fenomeen zoals hier te zien op de canarische eilanden.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHawaiian style
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI really like that (but they really should do something about those red plastic chairs).
BeantwoordenVerwijderenReally beautiful paintings. In particular, I liked from that beautiful boat =).
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI guess Tenerife must attract artists for some reason. Hmm . . . must have something to do with the sun. :-)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI like the style.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt suits its location so well!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLovely and a little bit different murals.
