As you know, I love water and boats and marinas so this post was a hit with me. I think Lois noticed something significant...that boat is just barely getting through the pass under the bridge. In some areas of Florida we have many such bridges because of the Intercoastal Canal. I remember in south Florida there were times when the vehicles had a long wait as boat after boat passed through.
...lovely water front property!

How nice to live alongside the canals Marleen.. good timing to see the bridge go up!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenVery pretty. That is quite a tight fit for that boat!

BeantwoordenVerwijderenRare to see bridges here doing that.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLots of boats in today's posts, I've noticed.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenJa het is echt canal view day vandaag.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSneek is een mooi plaatsje, echt oud.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWhat a beautiful view of the canal. I love seeing the boats and it was nice for the bridge to open up while you were there.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenA perfect Dutch canal scene! Sneek looks like a very pretty town.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe houses make this canal scene just like a doll house.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenOpened bridge. You're lucky.
