No matter how often we see this, a stork on her nest is always a special sight. This photo was taken last Sunday during our hike that started in the village of Haren, just south of Groningen city, and not so far from the white mill that I showed you yesterday.
Mooi! Ja, ik blijf het ook mooi vinden. Beleef de lente!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenVauu… It would be fantastic to see a stork on her nest, but I haven't ever seen.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYour photo looks wonderful.
Very impressive nest.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenQuite a bird. I've never seen them in the wild.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenResting after a busy day delivering babies?
BeantwoordenVerwijderen:) Probably!
VerwijderenReminds me of how ospreys build their nests here.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWhat a great shot! I'd never seen a stork until when in the Navy we stopped in Morocco and there we saw a number of them in their nests. We have wood storks here in central Florida but I'm not sure they are the same bird as this one.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThat is exciting! Like Jacob said, we have wood storks here in Florida, but this one looks different and I've never seen one on a nest like that.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenJa leuk. In lelystad en omgeving zitten er ook een boel maar ondanks de aanwezigheid van veel karrewielen op palen heb ik in almere nog geen nest gezien. Amsterdam darentegen weer wel.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenMooi gezicht altijd zo'n groot hoog nest.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenA pretty sight, Marleen !
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI also like such view. Super photo.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThere are also quite some just outside Berlin. And they are always a special sight!
