Our hike yesterday went partly along the Dollard, a bay in the Wadden Sea which forms the border between the (northern part of the) Netherlands and Germany. Most of it dries at low tide, which was obviously the case when we were there.
Lots of sheep on the dike and at some points we had to zigzag between their droppings ;)
I'm linking to All Seasons.
Prachtig.
BeantwoordenVerwijderen...thanks for taking me along.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe tide is a long way out there Marleen! You watch out for sheep droppings on your walks, I look out for kangaroo droppings 😀
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWhat an interesting sight!!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLoved it!
That is so interesting...it's not an ocean view we see here at all. Very different. Love those chubby sheep, but I guess they are messy, like ducks? It seems to me I read recently how your country uses windmills to produce almost all of the energy you need. Is that correct?
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSwitching to green energy is a hot topic in our country, also because of the earth quakes in the north of the Netherlands caused by the production of natural gas - an area not so far from where these photos were taken. But still a lot needs to be done!
VerwijderenIt looks like quite a setting for a stroll, as long as one avoids any sheep droppings!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenPretty area Marleen. I like seeing the sheep and the windmills in the distance.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenMooie foto van het laag tij in de Dollard!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenje eerste foto is een toppertje Marleen

Enjoyed the Dollard link. Thanks!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenGreat find for All Seasons, Marleen! Have never been on the islands (hubby has since he is from Friesland) or close to the Waddenzee. All Seasons thanks you for this beautiful view! Thank you much and have an exciting week:)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBeautiful water views and green hillside (that grass is well-fertilized obviously ;>))
BeantwoordenVerwijderenReally fascinating to see this natural phenomenon!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenA nice area for the sheep!
What a wonderful place to hike and see sheep along the way.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenInteresting area. Sheep are woolly and wonderful.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe sheeps are wonderful.
