The train station area in Assen has been a building site since 2016, but it is all going to be finished later this year. This photo was taken from the temporary bridge that takes train passengers to the other platforms...
...and this is the new roof construction from underneath.
Gosto do telhado.

Oh dat wordt vast mooi, verscillende stations hebben al een opknapbeurt gekregen en dat ziet er spectaculair uit.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI like that new roof.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI looooooove this and as I've said before, I'm so jealous that you have trains to ride. In this country, after WWII, the auto and bus companies bought up all the trams and buses because they wanted to sell trucks and cars. And President Eisenhower went along with it. One of the worst decisions ever made!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenEverywhere you go there is new building in the world today. will we ever get it finished?!!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenGreat works take time until they are finished.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBeautiful roof.

De NS is bezig een hele verzameling van leuke daken aan te leggen. Hoop dat deze de tand des tijds goed doorstaan.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNice roof.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenAnd I can see the similar to construction fences than we have everywhere.
I have been there.... many years ago. I went to a wedding, and came straight from the airport in Amsterdam

Always nice to see unique and pretty architecture. I am sure it will look great when it is finished.
