The ladies of the Exloo sheep-pen were having lunch as we passed there last Sunday.
The Exloo flock has about 200 Drenthe Heath sheep. Whenever they are not at the nearby Molenveld heather fields they can be found here in the centre of the village.
I'm linking to Our World Tuesday.
Dit zijn weer andere schapen dan onze kudde hier, mooie smalle koppen en horens hebben ze.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenInderdaad mooie schapen in een even mooie stal.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenPrachtig, zeker als ze hun bontjas nog aan hebben. Groetjes
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThere is a lot of material there for sweaters. (:

They are beautiful. Are they about ready to be sheared?
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHi Lowell, no that usually takes place in May.
VerwijderenThese are so much nicer looking than our local sheep.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenMy wife would love some of their wool, that is her favorite when she knits or crochets.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI can see the black sheep of the bunch. - Margy
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThey're very woolly right now!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI'm afraid they would have become overheated here today where afternoon temps reached all the way up in to the upper 60s Fahrenheit.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBeautiful animals! They looks so nice and warm.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNever seen so many sheeps and never seen inside the sheep-"house". Lovely.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWow, these sheep have a long wool !
