The Groninger Museum is partly underground, from the lobby on the ground floor you take the colourful mosaic concrete stairs down to arrive here in this hall, from where the exhibitions can be reached. The spiral stairs were designed by Italian designer and architect
Alessandro Mendini.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenWonderful!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThis is so beautiful - almost magical!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenGosh that's pretty spectacular Marleen, what a lot of time and energy must have gone into this. Incroyable view in your first post about the staircase too!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenMesmerizing is what comes to mind!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI particularly like that second photo where you've found some really interesting shapes and colours.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI looked at this post this morning and now again this afternoon. It's a fascinating place and those stairs intrigue me. What a great design. When I look up courtesy of your last shot, I get a bit dizzy! A fine post, Marleen!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHet blijft een prachtige trap! Vier jaar geleden volgde ik je ook al...:))
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBeautiful staircase Marleen. I like your perspective in the second image, very nice!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenUma bela e colorida decoração que tem estas escadas.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenContinuação de uma boa semana.
