Groningen ice-rink

School holidays are until the end of this week so busy times at the ice-rink on the central square in Groningen city.

You don't have to bring your own ice-skates, they can be rent (the blue ones). And no worries if you don't know how to skate, there are chairs available to hold on to..
Well, chair or no chair, in my eyes they are all very brave! :)

    It looks like people are enjoying it!

    I expect our Canal will be open soon. I know there have been work crews on it testing the thickness of the ice.

    Funny thing, you have the roof over ice-rink tough you don't have so much snow raining..

      No I haven't been on ice-skates for ages. It looks like fun but it's not for me :)

    They look like they're enjoying themselves. I wouldn't be skating, I wouldn't even want to walk on ice. :)
