Why pink? I don't know. In fact a lot of people don't know and many of them are "not amused" by it. But according to the city council, the fact that the paint job "suddenly" happened without being announced in front should make clear that Groningen is a continuously changing city. The text in Dutch says:
Do you ever stop to realise?
The city never stops
And neither do I
Holy cow! What an eye catcher!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYou certainly wouldn't fail to notice it! Good news for manufacturers of pink paint.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI don't mind it Marleen, love a bit of colour.. at least those that don't like will only have to wait a few months before it's gone forever 😊
BeantwoordenVerwijdereneen tekst die tot nadenken stemt Marleen..
BeantwoordenVerwijderenmaar die kleur is wel te hevig
prettige dag
That really is seriously pink!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenVery identifiable building. We bought a house once that the kitchen was painted in pink and we spent 2 days repainting it. :)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenPink house would be ok., if it would be lower and smaller. But this one is really striking, i.e. you can see it for ever.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThat's awful. At first I thought it reminded me of Boca Raton, Florida where everything is painted pink and beige and salmon, etc. But then I realized you'd get put in jail in Boca if you painted this color on anything! :))
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI don't think I have ever seen such a large building painted in so vibrant a pink. It demands attention if nothing else.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenOooh.. I love Pink. Really lovely house =).
